...which shows how relatively young (18) to a lot of other posters I am, I suppose - it was just fun to watch something with my dad and both enjoy it.
I got a kick out of those 'comedy sports films for kids' - like Mighty Ducks etc. - they were just classic half-term films
: Just curious what movies you all liked when you were growing up and going to school. I am 29 and when I was a kid, I remember watching the "Star Wars" trilogy and the first two "Godfather" films a lot. I also liked "Rocky". Those are all classics along with my other favorites "Westworld", "Jaws" and "Raiders of the Lost Ark." Then there are the odd choices like "Hollywood Knights." Okay, so it was "American Graffiti" ripped off. Where else do you get to see a guy fart "Volare" onstage? And the soundtrack was great.
: Other films are "Little Big Man", "A Hard Day's Night", "Die Hard", "The Idolmaker", "The Bad News Bears" (the first one), "Close Encounters of the Third Kind", etc. What about you?
