They forget that every single system launched with like 3 killer aps and then there's nothing for almost a year.
I watched tons of people buy a PS2 and then complain about it for a year because there was nothing out there. I then bought mine used for a bit less and had plenty of great stuff to play.
Right now I love the X-Box, but I won't be buying one until the killer aps start flowing (LotR and the ilk).
Plus every PS2/X-Box title has had an X-Box edge if only by a bit.
You should never trend buy. You will always pay more and get less for a while. Now when everyone else is picking up an X-Box for less and getting great games you'll be slapping yourself.
The only system I don't like is the Gamecube, but that might change in the future. Who knows?
