I believe your right to voluntarily put anything into your body you want to -- be it herbs, tongue rings or minor appendages belonging to a member of the same sex -- is an important thing. But there will never be a major revolutionary movement based upon marijuana rights, for that very reason.

It's like the old joke goes, who'd win the drug users marathon? The cokeheads would be past the finish line before anyone fired the shot. The heroin users would be collapsed at the starting gate. The potheads would be home saying "the race was today?"

: Damn it all to hell. There are major pro marijuana marches taking place all over the country tommorow. Of course my god damn friend from work has to have his damn engagement party on the same f'n day!!
: I missed the last couple years events due to work but thought I could check this one out. Bummer.

: It doesnt matter too much anyways since the link for new york city events on their web site:
: cures-not-wars.org
: is dead. Figures. I love weed but if it interferes with your ability to provide the info that the other puffers need to organize and rally- it bums me out.
: The event is always good- usually a march down 5th ave in NYC.
: It usually starts at washington square around 11am or noon if anyone is interested. :)
