Furthermore, Richard Hatch was a real jerk to work for and promptly dropped all of us when more "important" people got attracted to the project.

Richard's reward for being a jerk? The Sci Fi channel is doing a BSG project-without him. My reward for working on the project? I made friends with an indie producer (doing effects on the project) who was invaluable in my magazine project. (He had done a comic, Jack Frost, which he later turned into a movie.) We still work together sometimes at my current company which is involved in 3D projection. All in all worth the experience despite the lack of pay.

I guess I'm saying that I'm completely in agreement with Vincent here...which is pretty scary in itself! (g)
