: Hi everyone! I'm a Spanish guy who has discovered recently this web although I discovered "Mallrats" about 2 or 3 years ago, when a local TV showed up that film one night I could not get sleep... So, what a better way to discover this guy called Kevin?? :)
: A week ago, "Jay&Bob strike back" has been released on dvd/video in Spain and finally I've watched the entirely filmography and I wanted to make two appointments
: 1 - I want to know people who likes Kevin's films in this side of the ocean, better if they are from Spain too 'cos i want to buy all the films on dvd and the original soundtrack of "Chasing Amy". I hardly find "Jay&Bob.." and "Mallrats", so if someone knows something about them please reply this message. Thanks a lot
: 2 - (And that's a personal opinion) For me "Chasing Amy" is the best film of all. When I watched it I could not believe it, so I watched again... Oh my God! I was seeing myself in the character of Alyssa due to a personal experience I lived recently. And I'm also an amateur actor, sincerely, the work of Joey Lauren Adams in this role is just great!!

: Well, that's all I wanted to say, thanks all for reading this and thanks God for letting us know this handsome guy called Kevin ;)

Ok, my head is tired - I agree the soundtrack is great - and I love Dave Pirner's other work as well. If you go to The Summaries on the top, you can find information on how the soundtrack came about -- I guess it was supposed to be different music, but the artist pulled out at the last minute and Dave Pirner filled in.
He did some of the stuff for Clerks as well - the song in the end credits for sure.
I'm a big fan of his for a long time. In fact, I had a big crush on him when he & I lived in the same neighborhood. I used to sell him beer all the time, but I never got up the courage to start a conversation.
Maybe I should have started in Spanish...

Catharine.
