My guess is that he's got at least a five game suspension coming his way. Unlike the hit by Tie Domi in last year's play-offs against the Devils, McLaren's hit on Zednik wasn't a case of malicious intent, it was just a case of irresponsible body-checking. It was definitely a hit worth a penalty, but the damage was increased by the fact that Zednik is about the same height as McLaren's elbow so a shot that may've clocked another player in the chest completely trashed Zednik's face. So, McLaren'll get a smaller suspension than those who with an intent to injure, but it'll still be significant enough to counter (if that's possible) the Montreal's loss of such a talented player for the duration of the play-offs...
