Simple. Heterosexual people aren't, as a group, systematically kept down on the social ladder. It would be no more necessary for them to have an alliance then it would be necessary to have a Caucasian alliance.
And what you said wasn't homophobic, but could be considered heterocentric (i.e. from a perspective that holds heterosexuality to be the normal standard). Don't worry, you're not going to hell.
