My guess is that the reason you don't like it and I do is because human beings have different tastes in things. Not that yours is completely right and mine is wrong.... So that covers it.
I think I just went into this movie with a different mindset maybe? I think the fact that not much happened, but the way it's filmed keeps you intrigued and in suspense, is something to be stood up for. I mean, don't get me wrong, stuff does happen, just not like asteroids coming out of the sky or car chase scenes etc.-- It's easy to convince someone not to like something they've never seen, but it's not easy to convince someone they shouldn't like it after they've watched it and decided they have.
