what with mixing timelines and characters, etc...

mystique looked RAD in the comic, she looked lame in the movie... hell, even the toys still had the flowing white dress and red hair with the little skull on her forehead...

yeah... wolverine and rogue joined the x-men at the same time... riiiiight. and rogue never stole ms. marvel's powers... riiiiiight.

so iceman is a kid at the same time as cyclops is a grown-up and jean grey is old enough to be all of their mothers... even though they all joined the x-men at the same time.... riiiiiiight.

i think a lot of the changes made to spider man are helpful... i LIKE the organic webshooters... it fucks up the story lines where his running out of fluid adds tension, but it adds to the "realness" of the story... i'm with raimi on the whole "so this kid can design a compound in his bedroom that 3M would kill to be able to produce..." kinda thought process.

i'm not 100% sold on the Green Goblin though... i like the aesthetic of the original GG suit, but can appreciate the "functionality" of the new one...

but this is coming from someone who hasn't bought a comic book (barring the kevin smith stuff) since 1986-1987...
