When I first watched The Holy Grail, I was only about 12 or so, and hadn't experienced much Python style humour before, so it was all new, exciting and entertaining. Also, all my friends think Monty Python's for stupid nerds (probably true), so I don't have them quoting every damn line of the film back at me (which kind of spoiled Goodfellas for me).
