: I thought Frailty was a great debut for Paxton. It was very grim and his choice on how to play his particular character I think was key to keeping the tone and not turning into a run of the mill horror film. I think Sam Raimi left a big impression on him when they worked together on A Simple Plan. This movie's look reminded me of Raimi's last few dramas like Plan and The Gift.

: The climax was great and when it was over the movie seemed so much more disturbing. It will probably be out of the theater in a week. It's a shame. Definately one to catch on DVD if you can. And whatever you do, know the least about the film as you can going in.

: : Saw this movie last night, it was very good...Paxton did a good job directing, some cool scenes nothing over the was a very good thriller, I don't wanna give any of the plot away, but it was the kind of movie that made me wanna read the book (if there is one).....very stephen king....not like his horror, but in his dealings with madness and children etc...

I was very impressed. I went in to the movie with the thought that it would be just like all the new 'horror/thriller' flicks out there, but it rekindled my love for big budget hollywood flicks. I can't believe it but someone still knows how to write. I thought the movie was great, I LOVED the ending.. somewhat twilight zone-ish.
