It's been referred to as a "Scriptment" based on the length and the chunks of dialouge in it. I looked over it a few years ago, it gets really fucking boring to read after awhile, allegedly it's the one that ol' Jimmy C. wrote when he was attached to the project, before he began his fascination(sp?) with sinking cruise liners.
: I've never seen the treatment before, but James Cameron was originally lined up to do Spider-Man. It could be the real thing, but I'm not gonna read the whole thing. It's certainly anything but a screenplay. Especially the one line about how everyone loves an underdog hero or something near the end(I skimmed).
