Jim Carrey who recently starred in a couple of touchy feely pictures recently, is reuniting with Tom Shadyac from his "Liar Liar" and "Ace Ventura" days to make a funny movie!! I'm very happy to hear that Carrey will be going back and doing what he's best at...funny movies!!! He is and excellent actor in such movies as the Majestic...but he was born to do comedy!! The movie due out in 2003 is named Bruce Almighty and here's its Premise: Having a particularly bad day, persistent complainer Bruce (Carrey) curses God for all that's wrong in the world... so the Almighty confronts him, and challenges him to try to do a better job. Bruce has just one day to make the world a better place, or God will bring forth an apocalyptic cateclysm that would hurtle mankind back to the Dark Ages...
