There's sort of a timeline, but there isn't. I'd much sooner dismiss all the "references" as in-jokes rather than try to rationalize them...there's SO many friggin' holes, plus at least once a week for a month someone posts the "how can J and SB not know they had to pay for a bus in J&SBSB if..."
Chasing Dogma destroys the timeline completely, and the animated series does a lot as well. Not to mention the "if Brodie really hosted the Tonight Show" problem. I also don't buy the Brodie and Randall cousin theory.
In either case, try to find that one post with the extensive Timeline - It goes into what happens on each day of a week or something.
