Rabbit's feet are an old European pagan custom. For super-righteous Christians, pagan = demonic, so that's probably where this is coming from.

Then he asked me if i'd like some flyers to read about it while i was sitting in the car. So i said "sure" thinking this would make him go away. Well he did and when i looked at the flyers and magazines he handed me, it was all Jehovah's whitness stuff. HE TRICKED ME!!
: i was reading some of that stuff and it turns out that (according to them) good luck charms are EVIL and a form of Demonism! when i read that i let out a shriek of utter fear and launched my lucky rabbits foot out the window of the car, and breathed a sigh of relief.
