: RANT: I am sitting at home watching my beloved television with the perfect gift any television set could ask for, the magical and wonderous digital cable box. As I watch the television, I realize that most of t.v. sucks. Yes that is right, I did say that. Television sucks. Not a damn thing is on that is worth watching, and porn seems to only be on the pay channels I don't have at the time...stupid fate I curse you! Why must I go without pornography? Digital cable mocks me with this, I know it. In fact the only thing I get on my pay channels that is close to porn is that damn taxicab confesssions show on HBO...stupid shit there, let me tell you. Damn HBO! DaMn HBO! DAMN HBO! DAMN HBO TO HELL!However, I must not rant on about HBO in this rant, for that could make a whole new rant and double the goodness of this wonderous page. Oh the wonders I could have! But I shan't get off topic, for that would be the death of me.
: Now to actually get to what the hell I was going to say about this rant. I was watching my digital cable, and I found this magical channel called MTVX. I was skeptical to watch it at first, because it has SUCKTV written in front of it, and with an X at the end, it could mean that it was a channel of all the crap that was too sucktabulous to end up on regular SUCKTV. This frightened me. Alas, I was wrong. For when I used the on-screen-super-duper-tell-you-what-is-on-tv-guide-friend-view-finder-of-magical-descent, I found out it was all rock videos. Again I was skeptical, for rock on SUCKTV would be super crap like Puddle Of Suck, Suck Bizkit, SucKoRn, Staind with Suckiness, or some other band that is sucky. But again, I was wrong for I saw videos that did not only not suck, but kicked ass and reminded me of my lovely childhood of watching MTV and not being bombarded with suckiness. But then, the suck came to focus, and it was the suck that began in the 80's that made the new suck that survives today.
: The suck took over great bands of the 80's and forced them to be forever listed in the suck pile by people like me, who hates suckiness and will tell people of the suckiness I may see.
: What brought this about one might ask. And even if they don't ask, fuck that because I shall tell you anyway. I was watching the MTVX and I was enjoying it very much so. I saw some Metallica videos from the Non-Suck period, but I also saw Defsucktones and was discouraged a bit, but the next videos did not suck, and reminded me of the glory of good music that was meant to be liked for the music, and not the suck factor and gimmick that also sucked. But it was the song Bring The Noise by Anthrax that sucks only sometimes but is good others and can't decide whether to suck or not, and I realized that the reason we let Suck Bizkit be popular is by not stoning and lynching bands that worked with rappers in the 80's...Remember that super bowl halftime show with Aerosmith, N'Suck, Britney Sucking is fun Spears, and that black chick who sucks? That is what happens when you don't kill the suck before it spreads. More mutants of the suck could come from this. And it would be everyone else's fault but mine, because I warned you. Stupid people never listen.
: However the only bands that brought the suck into music did not have names that started with an A. Vanilla Ice brought the suck, and is paying for it now...Stupid stupid white guy...got his ass beat in celebrity boxing, which is the greatest sport ever...celebrity boxing should be in the olympics!
: However, the worst/best example of the suck that I saw was that of some black dude and Rancid doing some song called Bruk Out....ITS IN FUCKING EBONICS! OF COURSE IT IS GOING TO SUCK!
