It seemed like it moved waaaay too slow, but try and make it through a couple of episodes -- you'll be hooked. It definitely requires your full attention and involvement, but if you dig drama, this is the show for you. I've only gotten into it recently, and I'm kicking myself for missing the first season when everyone was telling me how hot it was.
HBO is kicking every network's ass, in terms of turning out new quality material. I'd rather watch their shows than most movies, too.
: My wife loves it. I have given it a legitimate chance, but I just cant get into it. I love the cast though. Peter Krause (Nate Fisher) is one of my favorite actors. Of course, I thought "Sportsnight" was one of the best TV shows ever made, but I digress.
: Big fan of HBO though. They are the best production house around - period.
