10k fine mentioned in the JSBSB DVD?

I was watching disc two of the Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back DVD and heard Kevin mention having to pay a $10,000 because of G.L.A.D complaints or some such against the movie. I was curious how that works (I'm prepared to be given some weak logic on their part) and who gets paid? Is that a law suit, where the rewards were awarded to G.L.A.D?

Just a nudge to an appropriate news article would be enough to satiate my curiosity.
