: Look, I get that you think lowcarb doesn't work. I think you're wrong.

: For the record, I don't use Atkins. I use the Carb Addicts Lifespan Program. Atkins is a little extreme for me, BUT it's a hell of a lot better than what most people eat.

: I haven't the time...or the energy...to argue with someone convinced he's right. If you have an open mind, get on over to Dana Carpender's website holdthetoast.com. Go to the archives of the lowcarbezine (E! archives) and start reading. You'll be amazed at the amount of medical data being ignored by government bureaucracies - including yours.

: I don't care if it's for malicious reasons, self interest, or honest belief that the lowfat model is best. Data is being ignored, and that's contrary to the scientific method.

theory.
And I did not go into health education and get a degree in nutrition to be malicious, or for self-agrandizement. I studied nutrition because I love food, and I thought it would be cool to know more about it.
Actually, I don't think I ever said I thought eating lowfat was the key.

I said a balanced diet and physical activity.
I don't think there is a magic food to eat or not eat.

But I do know I have seen in my career people who have become very seriously ill because they have eaten an unbalanced diet for too long.

I don't want to see that happen to anyone.
My only agenda is actually to help people improve their health.
