my problem with atkins is that it advocates to people to eat foods no matter how fatty, because they'll lose fat in the process. This wrecks fucking hell to your cholesterol.
Atkins is okay if you eat less carbs in favor of more fruits, vegetables and natural foods, which I'm guessing your restricted carb diet is. (If it worked, I doubt your swallowing grease).
Plus your significant lost weight was on a calorie restricted diet. That's kind of un-Atkins.
You should always exercise, and eating sensibly is also good. You can't lose more than 2 pounds of fat per week. Anything more than that is muscle tissue and water weight.
