Mannnn what a good time that show was ..
We got into the city and lost right away due to the Big Dig screwing all the streets up
So then on our way to eat , we walked past an alley where my brother stopped quickly going "holly shit".. being Boston I wondered if he'd just a priest shit on the sidewalk .. But it was actually Kevin McDonald and Dave Foley hanging out for a minute behind the Orpheum ...
So , on to the show ... our seats where in the orchestra section in the dead center so we had a great view ..
As for the show , the highlights for me were Kevin McDonald and Dave Foley doing the Pit of Darkness .. Kevin came out and tripped over part of the table , prompting him to restart the bit two more times ... and then when Dave got out there it was just more improv hilarity between those two which continued all night ... Scott Thompson's Buddy monolouge was better this time , basically about getting nailed by a certain Middle East dictator ...Mark McKinney and Bruce doing the "Gavin" sketch about a shop teacher ... The Citzen Kane sketch ...again Kevin and Dave going off ..Dr. Suess's Bible ...Bruce's "I'm Bob Segar Song" was awesome ...and of course the whole group doing "Running Faggot" ...
The whole night was just one laugh after another ... I had a great time and I recommend going to see them if they come around to where you live ...
