I understand, trust me I do. I joined the group because I had things in common with the guys there. Has it all been a great thing, no, but for the most part, it really did help me grow up. I know that can be questioned being that when in a group they tend to act like children. The Greek system is about dead. Recruitment is down and everyone is fighting to stay above water. Van Wilder, while funny, didn't help matters. But Animal House didn't either. Hey I like to party as much as the next guy, but that isn't all these groups are about. I notice how homophobic Fraternity men can be though. I brought that up last week. And it isn't just my brothers. I noticed the way Lynch was called gay and other homophobic remarks a while back on the ANP board. Brian was pretty cool about the situation considering it was a 'brother' putting him down. We are not Saints but we do good things. This winter we helped but clothes on the backs of over 500 children in Terre Haute. Did we get any news time or headlines for that, hell no. Did we for having a group of pledges singing to a Sorority at 11pm, you bet, it was HAZING.
