: Since we're on a roll today with the sad stuff, I feel compelled to tell you guys what happened to me last night:

: I went for a trial Karate class cause I've been in need of exercise, stress releif, and discipline, and I worked myself so hard I collapsed on the floor. My breathing was so bad that I couldn't stop heaving for 20 minutes.

: Then the muscles in my fingers, hands, arms, legs, and face seized and curled up so hard I was in some kind of Jerry's Kid / Toxic Avenger / Stroke Victim attack. Conscious and scared shitless through the whole thing, I resigned to myself that I was going to die, especially when my arms curled up behind my head and the attack hit my chest and head.

: I almost blacked out from the tension and the pain when I screamed out then realized I could fight it and loosen up, so I spent 15 minutes battling back until I won back control of my face, legs, and half of my arms. I'm doing OK now, but I still can't move two fingers on my left hand, as I may have snapped a muscle or nerve there or something.

: Typing on a computer is part of my career and life, so I'll be a real mess if I lose two fingers to this, as I'll be typing with 1.5 hands as I am right now. Doc says this shouldn't happen, but I'm pretty spooked about it anyhow...

: The bottom line for me is that just like Kevin or our friend Virgo below, I have a long road ahead of me, starting with getting my hand back and then losing 25-30 pounds, lowering my cholesterol, and fixing the stress and anger issues inside my head.

: I know I can do it, cause there's people with worse problems than me and they pull off miracles, but just remember that nobody's got it easy and your life can be over in an instant - and all the fame, money, and respect in the world will never change that...

: If you take any advice from me, Kevin, Virgo, or Philthy Phil, it's this: Don't take anything or anyone for granted, don't waste your time being pissed off at the world, and don't ever die with any regrets - These are the worst things you can do to yourself and to your peeps. Don't go out like that...
