i'd definately say nevermind was the best album they did, the rawness but well produced - i thought in utero was too weird(i still liked it), unplugged was great (cos i play acoustic) but it doesn't capture the energy as much as the other albums, bleach and insestiside are still great catchy pop songs but you can see where he was growing as a songwriter...
thats just my opinions, but he was such a talent that anything he did (EVEN a band called 'Pen cap chew' ?!?!) was gonna have something special to it cos we was a good performer
