: ---Now this is more like. Although I still more or less disagree, it's about the movie, not your one word review.

: ---I thought the story, while based on a true story, was refreshingly original amongs the slew of remakes coming out. I diddn't think there was anything wrong with the dialouge. Granted it was no Clerks, but a flick like this may not benefit from snappy conversations. As for the CGI, looking inside a trash can or at 2 people in a 69 were by no means an important part in telling the story in Fight Club. The only MAJOR CGI shot I recall is the steadycam shot of the burglars prowling around. And I throughly enjoyd it's "Fincher-esque" look. I think the VERY last scene wasn't entierly necassary, but I can't think of a better resolution. What kind of audience did you see the movie with?

I found that all CGI used in Fight Club were necessary to the story. I have watched it so many times that I find the connections which are not so obvious. They are pretty deep, and sometimes far fetched, but I think they are all necessary. If you look at the post I replied to Lynch, you will see the examples I game of bad use of CG and dialog.

: ---If you're friends tastes are similar to yours then rent it. But don't give two shits to the critics. They rarely elaborate on anyfilm they see. They try to be "in-depth" in thier reviews but always stick on a pet-peve about the flick througout. As I said before, Gene Schallet gives bad reviews just so he can use shitty puns ("When I saw the Time Machine, I wanted to travel to the end of the movie, ha ha ha") I feel sorry that you're standards are high. It's a noble quality, but if it prevents you from enjoying cinema, it may be a curse.

I will wait, cause I am running out of money.
