I live in Malaysia, and therefor devoid of any Kevin Smith movies, until one day I heard of a brilliant little invention called "Mail-order".
Now, I know I hopped into the 'Jersey Trilogy/Kevin Smith' Bandwagon a little late, but hey, better late then never, right? Well anyway, I finally got a copy of Chasing Amy on VHS, and basically what all this bulls**t I'm writing here is to thank you for making such a wonderful movie.
As sappy is at may sounds, I'm currently undergoing roughly the same thing Holden and Silent Bob went through. Trying to attain the unattainable, blew my chance, and as Silent Bob so elegently puts it, Chasing Amy. After watching Chasing Amy, I suddenly re-analyazed all these feelings I had for this girl and well, put me in a more depressing mood, missing her more. But for once, I knew what these feelings were for her, and also knowing that someone out there roughly knows what these feelings are.
So Kevin, I thank you for making such a fantastic movie that really put my life back into prespective and deciding to finally move on with it. And as long as you will come out with great movies, there will still be more people loving every second of it.
