I don't know if Vulgar is meant to be a dark comedy or a drama with some comedic relief bits -- and I've seen it -- so I can't help you. You'll just have to see it and judge for yourself what the intention was.
Some people seem to think the whole concept is the funniest thing since banana peels and cream pies, but the movie doesn't play as a deliberate comedy. It's heavy. Don't go into it expecting light entertainment, that much I can say.
: Just checked out the trailer for Vulgar and briefly the website, and was wondering what's up with the slightly goofy spin the powers that be are putting on the film? I thought it was a hella-dark movie and from what I've seen, it just as well be seen as a farce. I really liked the previous website put up by View Aksew, dark, brooding, well-designed...ah well. Any thoughts?
