So I'm writing my master's thesis, and I'm tracing the socio-political climate amoung young adults over the last forty years as indicated in film. I've incorporated a few of Kevin's movies into my work. In fact, a couple of my assertions hinge on elements of "Clerks" and "Chasing Amy". In reviewing these chapters, though, I'm thinking that I may be overbaking the films a bit. Any thoughts? Any ideas? At this point, I'm willing to listen to any suggestions. Also, I beg you to be kind, as this thesis represents several months of my life, and I'm feeling a bit fragile about it. Thanks.
