You totally missed the mark there. Those are JUST his views. He expresses this fact repeatedly. He didn't mean to "reach" or to "recruit" anybody. As you said, some were sarcastic (but an accurate portrayal of people in general), but saying that Jhonen though they were profound relates them to others, which is so far from the truth, that it hurts. All you are doing is reading his views. Agree or Disagree, but make no mistake, he doesn't care.

I'll let him know next time I see him. And no, that wasn't sarcasm. He hasn't been back to San Jose or Union City in months, but he's set to return within the next few weeks. Last e-mail I got said he's laughing really hard for no reason at night, and he is very, very frightened. I'll run into him soon after, no doubt. We shop at the same art store. Glad I live in California.
