cause she is my roomate, so i see it happen all the time, I've tried many of your options..but I think she just shouldn't be allowed to watch movies...
: 1. Take all magazines, distractions out of the room.
: 2. Make a meal before the film.
: 3. Stop the film if she gets up and leaves. Stop[ it altogether if she leaves for a long time.
: 4. Say you'll stop the film halfway through if she wants something else to eat.
: 5. If she doesn't abide, just say "SIT DOW AND WATCH THE FILM OR GO AWAY".
: 6. If she says it sucks, ask her why. If she says she didn't understand it, ask what exactly she didn't understand. If she just says "the whole thing, it sucked", explain it to her in as many small words as possible, highlighting th good bits so she may fdeel inclined to see it with you... again.
