The whole filming at a movie studio thing was mentioned in the J&SBSB commentary. I got the impression that it was both Kevin and Mosier's feeling that filming at a movie studio was tons easier.
I think Kevin even mentioned that there had been plans previously for a movie studio to be built in Jersey, but those plans unfortunately fell through.
But, I'm sure somebody will correct me if I'm wrong.
