: : In this timeline, J&SBSB takes place a year after dogma, because Brodie mentions the X-MEN movie stirring up the interest for the Bluntman and Chronic movie. Keeping with the timeline aspect of it all, it would have to have come about at least a year after Dogma
: Your argument here presupposes that the events in Dogma had to occur at a certain time with regards to X-Men, why? Was there a date attached the Glick's buddy Christ actions or something? Even if there was, that would only apply to the opening of Dogma wouldn't it? What events in Dogma couldn't have happened in, say, 2002 or 3?
Ok, first off, I will admit that this is quite sad, (but I am a stage manager, and it is kinda my job to notice these things). In Dogma in the restaraunt scene one of the characters (Jay I think???) is reading a copy of USA today, on that paper will be a date, ok, and you should be able to zoom your dvd player on to the date, or headlines, to get some idea of the presant time.
