...it makes me wish Radiohead would go sort of glam on their next album, since Thom sure proved he's got the chops on those Venus In Furs songs he fronted...

: i'm quite partial to detroit rock city, spawn, and of course, j&sbsb.. oh, and on occasion, the wedding singer.

Never heard the DRC soundtrack, but that's pretty much for the same reason I never saw the flick: I hate Kiss so much I can taste it in my balls. I have the "Spawn" soundtrack and REALLY dig about half the songs on it, but the rest is just an ass-fugly mess...though I'm always intrigued by soundtracks that mix two distinct genres, like "Judgement Night" and "Small Soldiers" did...the upcoming "Blade 2" soundtrack sounds good since it mixes trip-hop/acid-jazz/chillout/house artists with hip-hop peeps...the two "Wedding Singer" soundtracks are fun, but a little TOO cheesy and retro-fueled for me to enjoy over and over again...and I was pretty letdown by the JASBSB soundtrack...too corny or too bland at too many points, I think it's just a pale copy of the "Mallrats" soundtrack...

: the forrest gump soundtrack isn't bad, really. it's got the doors on it. :D

Fuck "Gump." The film pisses me off and the soundtrack is just a random bunch of feelgood oldies thrown together randomly to make middleaged white people feel good about themselves. It's the big-budget equivalent of one of those Time-Life compilations you can buy off TV...
