Y'know, I passed that place a million times (it's right on Broadway, in the Fashion District, on the 2nd floor of a bldg. on the corner of... um... 40th, maybe? It's near the big huge button sculpture, across the street. The sign is huge and red, if you're looking up, you can't miss it) on my way from Penn Station to and from work, and I never once made it up there. I always MEANT to... but anyway. Yeah, as of late January, my last trip into Manhattan, it was still there. Certainly worth giving a shot. Any comic book store is worth giving a shot, in my opinion... except, perhaps, the one in downtown Troy, NY. Man, they looked at me like they hadn't seen a woman in there since the 70's. I'm told there's a better one in Albany, but I don't know how to get there, yet.
So, I buy my comics when I head back to Jersey every few weeks. But the damned Slave Labor Graphics order wasn't in when I was comic shopping on Saturday, damnit!
