Not that that's a jab at Kevin, but come on, all great filmmakers have a style and a "mark" that they leave on their films that makes you think, "yeah, this is definitely a Smith/Tarantino/Scorsese/Coen film"...I'm sure the witty, yet horribly vulgar will be there, and from the sound of things, most of the same actors we've come to know and love...and really, outside of JASBSB, all of the VA-niverse films are in their won little world, they just happen to have similar names thrown in at certain points. I mean, think of "Amy." Outside of all the Jersey talk and name-dropping in the lesbian bar, the Quick Stop as a backdrop and Jay and Silent Bob's very brief appearance, the film has NOTHING to do with any of the others...same goes for '"Rats," outside of the pool story and the presence of Jay and SB, it's all on its own. Ditto for "Dogma." So pretty much all we're saying goodbye to is Jay and SB, who, while they always made me laugh, were hardly the reasons I kept seeing each VA film...I just keep on truckin' because of that Kevin Smith stamp of quality...

"Guarenteed Fresh Everytime"....hmmm, both VA and Grand Royal started AND ended at almost the same time...tragedy always comes in pairs...
