I am about to produce and direct my first movie. For a little to no budget project, should I use music that I want, and let a distributor worry about the music rights later, or should I personally attempt to secure the rights myself now? If Kevin, anyone at View Askew, or even other board members with experience could lend an opinion it would be a great help.
