I... don't get it. I mean, granted, I was part of the beginning of the firsties thing around here, oh, five years ago... but it just got so old so fast. Not to mention that people seem obsessed with fighting over it and stratifying "the rules" in a very strange way... that clogs the first two hours of the board in firsties fighting. For a while, "firsties" was not the person to type "firsties" but rather the first person to ask a substantive question. I liked that "rule" a lot better.
Man. Much ado about... et cetera.
