Kevin's a busy guy, getting busier all the time... especially insofar as his comicon appearences. In the world of film, he's a respected comedy director with a cult following... but in the world of comics, he's treated by many as the Jesus-of-Comics-Crossover and gets swamped as hell at those type events. It's probably pretty frustrating to be in his place.
He tries his best to be accessable to his fans... re: this public message board that he answers questions on three or four times a week... but there's only so much one person can do, especially when they've got a lot on their plate.
He only had time for a hundred people... for whatever reason... and he INFORMED people that he only had time for a hundred. It's not like he lied to people or anything... he had limited time, so he structured the situation for limited time.
It's not his fault if the people who ran the con didn't know their shit enough to cut off the line. Blame the con workers.
I'm sorry that you didn't get to... regale Kevin with your life story and ask him to sign your nuts or whatever, man... but he dealt honestly with the crowd and the con.
You were the asshole for EXPECTING him to go far above and beyond the call of duty when he's a busy man... and then getting pissed when he didn't.
Plus... if your fandom for actors, writers, artists, whatever... are based on what you perceive their public personality as... as opposed to their body of work in the entertainment field?
Then you're a fucking childish dick.
