It's weird. Everyone seems to love Brian O'Halloran as Dante but no-one seems to care for Jeremy London as TS, even when the two characters seem so similar. Both have problems with their girlfriends, both are constantly accompanied by a well-meaning yet chaotic friend (I know I make it sound incredibly lame, but bear with me), both are the "straight men" as opposed to the other characters in the films and both spend most of their time on screen antagonising about how sucky their lives are. Maybe it's just that London comes off as a bit of a whiny pretty-boy while Dante is a character who you can actually sympathise for. It doesn't help that at times London just looks kinda lost with te script Kevin's given him...

Jeremy London: Wait a minute, wait a minute, what the hell is Wolverine? And what does adadanti... admanti... damatini...

Kevin Smith: Adamantium.

London: Yeah, what the hell is that? Anyway, aren't comic books for kids? And how can this be a teen movie? There's no bonding, or discovery of one's inner self, or any meaningful stuff. It's all just stupid fan-boy stuff

Kevin: .....

OK, maybe I've just answered my own question as to why London isn't loved by the majority of View Askewbians. I suppose what I'm trying to say is I'm suprised Dante didn't get the same kind of negative reaction. Anyway, enough of this rambling. Word up, peace down.
