: I have to say, that as an actor, I have never thought of Jason Lee as an exceptionally tallented man, in comparison to the greats (Denero, Nicholson, Hoffman, Hanks, etc...). And kudos to Kevin for writing a role like that - a guy who works at his craft and is not wearing a suit. Rarely do we get to see that picture of counterculture young men.
And Lee pulled it off beautifully - funny, like you said, but multi-layered and believable.
