It's almost 2AM, I am exhausted, and as usual, I am about 24-48 hours behind everyone else on this board.
I logged on to see the "flying car" short that I missed last night, and what do I see but an asshole who feels the need to post his sour grapes over the fact that he didn't get to rub elbows with Kevin.
Is it me, or is there at least one controversy a month (well one that Stormin Norman doesn't start) on this board?
In all the conventions I have attended, or the celebreties I have met over the years, I have yet to see a classier act than Kevin Smith. This is not a suck-up, its the truth. At this year's Vulgarthon, I was amazed at how approachable he was and even more impressed at the after hours party when, instead of taking a break from the long day of fans and walking around, dancing with his wife, or just shooting the shit, he instead sets up a table for signing yet more autographs to make sure that everyone who wants one, gets one. If he doesn't appreciate his fans, then he sure has me fooled. Especially when he greets every attendee at the door of the movie theater at Vulgarthon, shakes their hand, and has his picture taken with them.
Folks, lets give the man the benefit of the doubt if just once, you don't get to personally talk to him about Lee, Afleck, or Mewes. If you don't get an answer to your posts (like this one here), don't take it personally. If he doesn't invite you over for dinner, don't crucify him. Also, and I think this is the most important thing...if you don't like the man or his work then STAY THE FUCK OFF OF THIS BOARD...its for fans.
You know, you do 99 great things and no one remembers, but you do 1 thing to piss someone off, even unintentionally...
