I haven't played State of Emergency, so I can't comment on that, but I still feel sceptical about any video-game movies, mostly because movie producers have a tendency to be idiots (apart, of course, the great Mosier). They'll think that they have to make any film designed for video-game fans a dumb action movie or a flick which relies solely on visuals rather than story to be successful. It's a shame, but that's the way things are.
: Alright I just read about New Line picking up the rights for a movie based on the video game State of Emergency. Now I like the game and all, but a movie...did we learn nothing from Super Mario Brothers and Final Fantasy?
