Same thing happened to me with the autograph session. I just wanted to shake his hand and chat with him but that number thing sucked. However, you should have stayed because later on because he was down at the booth. I actually walked up to him, shook his hand and talked to him for a little bit before the mob of people got too big. He was cool as shit just as I expected. One of my friends scored a photo of us talking. Something I am going to hold onto being a aspiring filmmaker. I wish it was the same for you. It's all about luck though I guess. Hope it works next time...
