I don't see any reason why that would stop, I think you are looking way to into it, they are just all good friends, I don't think it's anything psychological, as for Kevin and Mewes, I have a feeling Kevin will pull away from Jay, meaning I don't think Mewes will be in ALL of Kevin's flicks.
