How in the HELL did the Clerks cartoon not succeed? I just went out and bought the DVD (to finish off my View Askew collection - JSBSB) and those cartoons are the funniest ever? What time slot did it have? I ask this because if they were going for the 8-12 (or in my case 16) year olds who get up on Saturday mornings to watch cartoons, then that was a mistake. I'm telling ya, that show could've threatened to kick the shit out of the Simpsons if ABC could "market themselves out of a paper bag." On a further note, I can not WAIT for the Clerks cartoon movie. My god! I'll be broken in half. I'll end this pointless rambling with one quote . . .
"Who is driving? Oh my god, Bear is driving. How can that be?"
Ok two quotes,
"That's weird, I could've sworn I got game."
Ok three quotes,
"Big mean man whip us. We are slaves."
P.S.: Sorry about the excess of Clerks cartoon quotes, but if Kevin can turn a trilogy into five movies, then I can turn one quote into three. Plus I wanted to do a quote that doesn't get used more than a cheerleader at my school.
P.S.S.: I would like to seriously apologize to any cheerleaders at my school who might be reading this, and I hope they take no offense. I'm just mad they won't give me any. I would also like to say that the cheerleaders at my school like to have sex in many uncomfortable places, including the back of a Volkswagen.
P.S.S.S.: Yes, I ripped this off from Dogma.
P.S.S.S.S: Where's the Mallrats cartoon?
