stressed out near end of semester, I've been downloading movie after movie after movie off of morpheus. Hey, I don't have a car or a VCR.
So far:
The Shining
- Hadn't seen this in a while. I really like it, except Jack goes crazy too early. But Jack Nicholson doesn't hold a candle to Steve Webber's rendition. Yup. Shelley Duvall is soooo insanely creepy/nice...
Blade Runner
- I liked this, but it lost me. I need to watch it again. Where was the unicorn dream scene?
Billy Elliot
- Shut up. It has T-Rex music.

The Empire Strikes Back
- I realized I hadn't watched it in years. Best shot ever in any SW movie= X-wing flying over yoda when he says "No, there is another"
A Clockwork Orange
- First time seeing this. I thought it was brilliant. I actually rented this a couple years ago, before i had my license... and my mom wouldn't let me watch it. Hooray for stupid moms.
I was suprised to see it was up for a bunch of Academy Awarards- including movie of the year. I can't see the Academy voting for a movie like this nowadays.
I've become a Kubrick fan I think. Which one should I download next?
