Don't mean to insult you, but I've been listening to them since '86. And when Load came out, I felt like one of my children committed a murder or something.
It just wasn't them anymore. They changed not 'cause of a natural progression, but to change to fit the current music styles.
They're still better than what's out there now, but I miss the old guys.
Think of it this way, the Metallica from 1986 would kick the ass of the Metallica of 1996.
