Nobody believes this isn't a chat room now. Most of the new posters don't have the intellect to realise what the forum is meant to be about, and how far you can go before you abuse it.
See, this is what happened when the OWB was removed. If people were getting seriously off-topic, there was somewhere to point them. There's no longer that safety net.
As for the rest, everyone will hide behind the shield of what Kevin said about this being an open Board. This is probably the first kind of Board most of the dumb fuckwits who came here after JASBSB have ever encountered. They have no idea of etiquette anyway, and now they're here, they're inflicting their irrelevant and pointless chatter on people who still harbour a vague hope that they will be able to glean some information from Kevin, one of the Reds or anyone else who is in the know.
I still come here, but I'm under no illusions about what it's become. You need only go to the Angry Naked Pat or Film 4-11 Boards to see where most of the old faces have gone - somewhere they can participate in conversation that's above the intellectual level of a retarded teenager. I never thought I'd move on, but after a while, I got bored trying to find something that wasn't a poll or so badly spelt that it took half an hour to decipher.
