"High Fidelity" is not a good date movie, at least from a woman's perspective. This is, of course, based on the premise that the woman is interested in you AND that it's still relatively early in your relationship. The central theme of the movie is exes-- if this girl thinks like most women I know, she will immediately begin to ponder the details of your past relationships...and might even bring it up with you. Unless you are both quite emotionally mature and stable, as well as pretty solidly a couple, this is NOT a good road to go down, especially on Valentine's Day.
"Say Anything","The Sure Thing", and "Grosse Pointe Blank" are much better Cusack options.

: wow, thanks for all the great suggestions (well, except for vulgar), i didn't think i'd get this many replies, hopefully one of these movies will work out, i'm leaning toward high fidelity right now.
