believe it or not, I actually studied this same thing in a children's lit class in university...unfortunately, that's the one class that I missed. but, if it helps any, i believe that the Cheshire Cat represented the same sort of confusing "drug" that was represented by the Catepillar and the whole big-small issue.
Whatever it was though, Alice was on some wicked shit that afternoon...shouldn't kids books recommend staying away from that sort of thing?
And if anyone is interested, from the same class we learnt that Peter Pan was gay, and that Harry Potter was Christ...
And this is what I am spending thousands of dollars to learn...

: its nothing insanely hard..though it maybe. Well im doing a report on 60's drug culture ya know free love and all that good shit. But what i would like to know is..what the hell does the Cheshire Cat represent? What drug is he influenced by..its something i know it is. Cause lets face it that book/movie/tv special is full of drug subtext...if you know i give you all the respect in the world cause i couldnt find the damn information.
